Action Thriller Family Drama Ayudha to hit screens on March 27

The trailer of ‘Ayudha’, a film produced, directed, and headlined by Devaraj Kumar, has been released and is garnering attention. The action thriller, which also carries elements of a family drama, had its trailer launched on the Siri Music YouTube channel. Already gaining popularity through its teaser and songs, the film is now all set for release on March 27. The team shared their thoughts at a press meet held after the trailer launch.

Devaraj Kumar, who has been associated with the Kannada film industry as a makeup artist for over two decades, said, “I made my debut as a lead actor with Danger Zone. Later, I acted in Taj Mahal 2 three years ago, but it didn’t achieve the expected success, and I suffered heavy losses. I went into depression and even thought of quitting films. However, that decision didn’t last long. Two years ago, I started working on Ayudha. I have produced this film with the money I earned as a makeup artist. Along with producing, I have also directed and acted as the lead in the film.”

He further added that the film features four songs written by Manvarshi Navalagund, with music composed by Steven Satish, Manadeep, and Manju. Cinematography is handled by Venus Murthy, while Amrutha and Samhitha Vinya play the female leads. “With the support of the team, Ayudha has turned out well. The songs, teaser, and trailer are available on Siri Music. The film will be released across the state through Likhith Films on March 27. We seek everyone’s support,” he said. Actress Samhitha Vinya mentioned that she has a good role in the film and requested audiences to watch and support it upon release. Actors Surya Praveen, Raghuraj Malnad, Sunil Beeruru, Narayan, Surendra Kumar, along with distributor Ramesh Babu and technicians, were also present at the press meet.
