‘Bharathi Teacher 7th Class’ Celebrates 50-Day Milestone

The film ‘Bharathi Teacher 7th Class’, which earned recognition as the first hit of 2026 by effortlessly completing 50 days, celebrated its success in a grand समारोह at the Artists’ Association. The movie is produced under Poojya Films by entrepreneur Raghavendra Reddy, with Gururaj Reddy as co-producer. M.L. Prasanna has taken charge of story, screenplay, dialogues, lyrics, music, and direction. Venkat Gowda of Sachit Films serves as the creative head.

The event was inaugurated by noted personalities including Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad, actor Dharmakeerthiraj, Mohan, Ravi Gowda, directors Jadesh K. Hampi and Om Prakash Rao, senior journalist and actor Chakravarthy Chandrachud, and Veerakaputra Srinivas, all of whom appreciated the team’s work. The film features Sihi Kahi Chandru as a teacher, with Kumari Yashika in the title role, along with Govindegowda, Ashwin Hasan, Divya Anchan (of Comedy Kiladigalu fame), Benaka Nanjappa, Rohith Raghavendra, Soujanya Sunil, and M.J. Rangaswamy. Cinematography is by M.B. Hallikatti, editing by Sujith Nayak, background score by K.M. Indra, choreography by Kambiraj, and Darshan Gowda serves as the executive producer.

Speaking at the event, Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad noted that in today’s competitive era, even superstar films struggle to run for 20–30 days, making 50- or 100-day celebrations increasingly rare. He praised the film for conveying meaningful messages that support Kannada language and culture while offering guidance to the next generation. “Such efforts deserve appreciation, and more films like this should be made. I have watched the film and thoroughly enjoyed every performance,” he said.

Actor Sihi Kahi Chandru expressed his happiness, saying it was a privilege to be part of such a special celebration. “Even after acting in over 500 films, this is the first time I have received such a significant role. I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off, but I thank the director for trusting me. Throughout the journey, we spoke of nothing but the film, and today we are seeing the results of everyone’s hard work,” he shared. The team was visibly overjoyed, celebrating the success of ‘Bharathi Teacher’ with great enthusiasm.
