Love Mocktail 3 Review: A Heartwarming Final Sip of Father-Daughter Love Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)

Love Mocktail 3 Review: A Heartwarming Final Sip of Father-Daughter Love Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)

For those who have seen the first two films of the ‘Love Mocktail’ series, the movie begins in a way that connects to the story. In the climax of ‘Love Mocktail 2’ set in Chikmagalur, the protagonist Adi adopts a daughter from an orphanage, names her Nidhi after his late wife, and raises her with immense care. For the sake of his daughter, he chooses not to remarry, striving to be a good father and raising her with strong values. Following his wife’s wishes, Adi tries to raise Nidhi with discipline, but she turns out to be very mischievous, just like her father.

The first half sails through the daughter’s antics and the bond of love between father and daughter. However, the pre-interval climax takes a turn when the biological grandmother of the orphan Nidhi enters, claiming the child is hers. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
In this light-hearted emotional drama, the story is woven using the signature ‘Love Mocktail’ franchise formula—filled with comedy, mischief, and melodious songs. But more than anything, Darling Krishna proves himself best as a director this time in building the emotional drama.

Cast and Performances
The film features actresses from the previous two installments along with three new faces, making it a glamorous star cast. However, the one who steals the show is Baby Samvrutha, who plays Krishna’s daughter. Milana is also present in this film. Shwetha Prasad as a lawyer, Dileep Raj, Rajani as Nidhi’s teacher, and Neyara Deepak have done justice to their roles. Abhilash as the friend ’33’ and Jagadish in the unique role of ‘Jagga Mummy’ are the highlights of the film.

Technical Aspects & Verdict
The use of themes like the father-daughter bond, the selfless love men often don’t express, and sensitive issues regarding gender discrimination gives strength to the story. The songs maintain their usual sweetness. The dialogues woven into a simple screenplay and the emotional sequences are captivating. The fact that the ‘Mocktail’ story ends here might leave the audience feeling a bit sad. Overall, this movie is a great choice to watch in the theater with your family.
