“Soori Anna” Trailer Launched with Emotion and Star Power

The trailer of the much-awaited Kannada film “Soori Anna” was officially launched at a grand event held at Hyde Park Hotel, Bengaluru. The film is produced and directed by Dinesh Kumar, popularly known as Salaga Soori Anna, under the banner DJ Prakash Cine Productions. A deeply emotional moment marked the launch as the trailer was unveiled by Aarti, the wife of late actor Harish Roy, making this film his final on-screen appearance. Lahari Velu of Lahari Audio wished producer-director Dinesh Kumar on his birthday and announced that Soori Anna will be released on February 20. He praised the trailer, calling it impressive and impactful.

Aarti’s Emotional Tribute

Speaking at the event, Aarti, wife of the late Harish Roy, said: “I didn’t even know this would be my husband’s last film. I truly believe this movie will do well. I thank the film industry for standing by us during our difficult times. My husband lived and breathed cinema till his final days. My son has now grown up—please support him and don’t forget us.” Her words left many in the audience deeply moved.

Cast & Crew Speak

Actor Praveen, who plays the character Bat, said: “This film is very special. Vishwas’ contribution to this movie was immense. Though he is no longer with us physically, he will always remain in our hearts.” Jolly Jack said he appeared in a one-day special role for Soori Anna and expressed confidence that the film will be a big success. Prasad Kumar, who has trained many star actors in fitness for 25 years, said this was his first time appearing on screen and thanked Soori for giving him the opportunity. Tamil actor Kamaraj (famous as the villain from I) said: “This is my fifth Kannada film after Kabzaa and Ghost. Wherever I go, people talk about Kannada cinema—it has such strong reach.”

Producer-director-hero Soori Anna spoke emotionally: “Our film releases on February 20. I have struggled for six years to bring this project to life. This film carries a strong social message. This film, after Om, is one where real rowdies have acted, and it delivers a powerful message.” Heroine Sambhrama Shree added: “Soori has even sold his house and land for this film. The movie sends a strong warning to young people against gang culture.”
