Launch of Three Films Together: ‘Seetha Rama Raju’ and ‘Darshana’ Among Them
On Monday morning, three films produced under Matric Movie Makers, owned by Arun Kumar, were simultaneously launched at Sri Bande Mahakali Temple in Gavipuram. The three projects include ‘Seetha Rama Raju’ directed by Keerthi Krishna, ‘Darshana’ directed by Swastik, and another yet-to-be-titled film directed by Kumar.
‘Seetha Rama Raju’ details : In ‘Seetha Rama Raju’, Bigg Boss fame Karthik Mahesh plays the lead role, while Priyanka Kumar stars as the female lead. The cast also includes Arumugam Ravishankar, Jagappa, and Deepika (known for Mahanati). Director Keerthi Krishna shared that the story features elements of Seetha and Rama along with a character named Raju portrayed as Hanuman. The story is set around Chikkamagaluru and Bengaluru. Producer Arun Kumar said that producing films had been a long-time dream, and after լսening to many scripts, it is finally coming to life. Co-producer Bhavya Arun Kumar added that among many stories they heard over the years, these three stood out, leading to their launch.
Actor Karthik Mahesh mentioned that launching three films in one day is no easy task and described this story as one that deeply moved him, adding that it also contains a beautiful love story. Actress Priyanka Kumar said her role is part of an emotional love story with multiple layers. Actor Ravishankar praised director Keerthi Krishna for his hard work and said the story and dialogues are impressive. Dialogue writer Kranti Kumar, music director Raghavendra V, and cinematographer Abhilash Kalathi also spoke about their contributions.
‘Darshana’ details : At the same event, ‘Darshana’, directed by Swastik, was also launched. Actor Prithvi Ambar (famous for Chowkidar) plays the lead, while Nisha Ravindra stars as the heroine. Director Swastik described the film as a comedy-drama and his debut project. He thanked producers Arun Kumar and Bhavya for supporting the film after appreciating the story. The shooting will take place around Bengaluru, with Gaurav Shetty and Santu playing key roles. Filming is set to begin on the 8th of this month. Prithvi Ambar spoke about his role, while Nisha Ravindra said she will be seen as a cute girl named Preethi. Actor Tabala Nani mentioned he plays a character named Bangarappa, who has two daughters. Producer Arun Kumar credited Lokesh for playing a crucial role in bringing all three films to this stage and said each story has its own uniqueness, which is why they decided to launch them together.
Third film (untitled project) : The event also marked the launch of another film directed by Kumar, known for Love You Muddu. Actor Tabala Nani will play a prominent role in this project. The film is currently in its early stages, with the rest of the cast and technical crew yet to be finalized. Director Kumar said that Tabala Nani’s role in Eddelu Manjunatha had stayed with him for a long time, and a similar character is being continued in this film—though the story itself is completely different. He added that the film is being made with the intention of entertaining and making audiences laugh.
