Chayan Shetty Directorial ‘Marriage Party’ Completes First Schedule of Shooting

Director Chayan Shetty, who gained attention with his debut directorial ‘Adhipatra’ starring Roopesh Shetty, is now back with a new film titled ‘Marriage Party’. After receiving positive responses for his first film, Chayan has taken up the direction of this new project, which promises to be a complete entertainer. The team has now quietly completed the first schedule of shooting.

‘Marriage Party’ is primarily a comedy film. With a strong storyline and humor woven into every stage of the narrative, Chayan aims to deliver a film filled with laughter. The story is set in a village backdrop, and the first phase of shooting took place in various locations around Kundapura. The team completed around 20 days of shooting in the first schedule and has now begun work on the second schedule.

Actor Vineeth Kumar plays the lead role in the film. Having already gained popularity among audiences through several Tulu films, Vineeth is now set to make his debut as a lead actor in Kannada cinema with Marriage Party. Director Chayan Shetty, who hails from Kundapura, is bringing to life a fun-filled story set in his hometown through this marriage-themed narrative. The film is produced by Santosh V under the banner Varahi Films, marking his debut as a producer.

The technical team includes Srikanth as the cinematographer, Rithvik Muralidhar as the music director, and Nithin Shetty (of “Su From So” fame) as the editor. The lyrics are written by Pramod Maravanthe and Trilok. The film also features a strong supporting cast including Prakash Tuminadu, Deepak Rai, Naveen D. Padil, Rakshitha, Namitha Kiran, Ramdas, Raghu Pandeshwar, Pushparaj Bolar, and others. Marriage Party is being made in both Kannada and Malayalam languages.
