The teaser and four songs of the film “Srimathi Sindhoora”, starring Vijay Raghavendra and directed by R. Anantharaju, were grandly launched at SRV Preview Theatre. The film is being produced under the R&R Enterprises banner by real estate entrepreneur D. N. Nagireddy, who has also written the story. Actress Priya Hegde, debutant D.N. Leo Manoj, co-producer D.N. Jai Narayan, lyricist Kaviraj, and artists Ganesh Rao Kesarkar, Reshma V. Gowda, Prasanna Bagina, Ugram Ravi, Master Mourya, choreographer Five Star Ganesh, and Gangadhar shared their experiences during the event.

Speaking on the occasion, producer D.N. Nagireddy said that the film is the realization of his 20-year dream. He stated that he invested in the project with the noble intention of providing work opportunities to cinema workers. He mentioned that the movie features a song titled “Hoo Male,” and interestingly, it rained heavily on the day of the event. Despite the rain, he expressed happiness that members of the media attended the function. He added that the Hanuman devotional song is one of the highlights of the film. Renowned singer Kailash Kher has sung the song and reportedly said that he was proud to sing not just for Karnataka, but for the whole of India.

Explaining the theme of the film, Nagireddy said that when a girl gets married, she becomes a “Srimathi,” and “Sindhoora” symbolizes the respect and dignity she receives. Similarly, a responsible young man marries the girl he loves, but his life later takes several unexpected turns. The story explores the direction his life takes and the transformations he undergoes. He emphasized that devotion to God is important in family life and that the God we believe in never abandons us. He described the movie as a complete family entertainer.

Nagireddy also appreciated Gangadhar for managing everything efficiently. He revealed that he and Gangadhar had once planned to make a film with the late Puneeth Rajkumar. Though that project did not materialize, he expressed happiness about working with Vijay Raghavendra, who belongs to the same respected family. He also condemned actor Chetan Ahimsa for allegedly making derogatory remarks about the family. Nagireddy further promised that if the film becomes successful, he would share the profits with everyone who worked on the movie.

Actor Vijay Raghavendra said the producers had worked tirelessly on the project. He recalled that when the director and Gangadhar narrated the story at his home, it felt as though he was already watching the film. He noted that while current cinema trends revolve around action, violence, horror, and thrillers, “Srimathi Sindhoora” stands apart as a heartwarming family entertainer. He added that the film can fit into any category and that audiences of all generations would appreciate such a movie. He also praised the graphics work, saying it provides a visually pleasing experience.

Director R. Anantharaju said that the film reached this stage only because of the collective effort of every artist and technician involved. He expressed confidence that audiences would definitely connect with “Sindhoora,” around whom the story revolves. He also hoped that the producer’s hard work would be rewarded. The director revealed that Maruti, a 6.4-foot-tall world bodybuilding champion from Hospete, appears in the film as Lord Hanuman. The movie has been shot in beautiful locations including Mudigere, Sakaleshpura, and Chikkamagaluru. The film’s songs are written by Kaviraj, K. Kalyan, and the director himself, while music has been composed by Rajesh Ramanath after a long gap. Cinematography is by P.K.H. Das, and R. Gangadhar serves as the executive producer.
