‘Jodettu’ Second Schedule Shooting Completed, Heads Towards Final Showdown

The shooting of the film ‘Jodettu’, starring Chikkanna and Telugu actor Sunil in prominent roles, is progressing rapidly. Noted cinematographer Sudhakar Raj is directing the film, and the team has already completed about 80% of the shooting across 68 days. The second schedule of shooting was recently completed at Karekatthe in Nagamangala taluk of Mandya district. A village set recreating the 1990s era was specially constructed there, where several important scenes were filmed.

After completing the first schedule in Chikkamagaluru, the team had also filmed a fight sequence in Kanakapura. In the second schedule, which lasted 25 days, almost the entire cast participated in the shoot. The team is now planning a grand climax sequence, for which a massive set is being built. The final showdown of ‘Jodettu’ will be choreographed by action director Arjun. The story is written by Mahesh Dev D.N. Pur, while Sudhakar S. Raj and his team have developed the screenplay. The film is being produced on a grand scale by K. Somashekhar (Kattigenahalli) under the banner Akash Entertainment.

The movie will feature five songs, composed by V. Harikrishna. The technical crew includes Mohan B. Kere as the art director, K.M. Prakash as the editor, and K.L. Rajashekar along with Raghu Niduvalli as dialogue writers. The film is planned to be released not only in Kannada but also in Telugu and Tamil languages. Having earlier worked as a cinematographer for films like Adhyaksha, Robert, and Kaatera, Sudhakar Raj is now making his directorial debut with Jodettu. The film will blend sentiment, action, and comedy, and the makers promise that the story will reveal who the real “Jodettu” (the powerful duo/bulls) truly are.

The producers are aiming to release the film later this year. The film also features a strong supporting cast including Ramesh Bhat, Rangayana Raghu, Kalyani, Shivaraj K.R. Pete, Kuri Prathap, and Dharmanna Kadur, among others.
