“Sher” Starring Kiran Raj and Krish to Hit Screens on May 15

The trailer for “Sher,” starring Kiran Raj and directed by Prasiddh, was recently released. Produced by Dr. Sudarshan Sundarraj under the Grace Raj Productions banner, the film features H. Kumar (Raate) as the executive producer. The lead cast includes Kiran Raj, Surekha, Krish, and Tanisha Kuppanda. Following the trailer launch, the team shared insights about the project.

​Director’s Vision​Director Prasiddh noted that “Sher” is his third directorial venture. “Kiran Raj appears in a role unlike anything he has done before. While it is a relatable story, it is packed with suspenseful elements, focusing on the lives and challenges of orphaned children,” he explained. He also highlighted that the producer’s son, Krish Rodrig, plays the antagonist with great dedication, while Tanisha Kuppanda portrays a police officer. The film has received an ‘A’ certificate from the Regional Censor Board and is set for a May 15 release.

Cast Reflections

• ​Krish: “I play the villain in this film. It’s a role similar to the one played by Loose Mada Yogi in ‘Duniya.’ I underwent a lot of preparation for this performance.”


• ​Kiran Raj: “Director Prasiddh previously introduced me as an action hero. In this film, I play an orphan. It is a crime action thriller that I believe everyone will enjoy.”


• ​Surekha (Heroine): “This is my second film after ‘Bharjari Gandu.’ My character here has two distinct shades.”


• ​Tanisha Kuppanda: “This is the first film where I acted as a police officer, followed by the movie ‘Pen Drive.'”

​Production Details​

Producer Dr. Sudarshan Sundarraj, a lawyer by profession, shared that he and his three brothers started the production house specifically for his son, Krish. He confirmed that KRG Films will be handling the distribution.

​The event also saw participation from executive producer Raate Kumar, cinematographer Kitty Kaushik, and actor Shobhan. The film features music by Vijay Gummineni. Guests in attendance included Dog Satish, Kiran Kumar (Congress leader), and Rajesh.
