Vijay Raghavendra’s “Rippan Swamy” Set for August 29 Release; Teaser & Trailer Coming Soon!

Vijay Raghavendra, fondly known as Chinnari Mutha, has recently been choosing a string of unique and powerful roles. His upcoming film Rippan Swamy continues this trend, and expectations are running high. Directed by Kishore Moodbidri, known for the acclaimed film Malgudi Days, Rippan Swamy is gearing up for a grand release across Karnataka on August 29, 2025. In Rippan Swamy, Vijay Raghavendra appears in a rugged, raw look that adds depth to his character. Starring opposite him is Ashwini Chandrashekhar, an actress from Shivamogga who has acted in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu films. The supporting cast includes Prakash Tummi Nadu, Vajradeer Jain, Yamuna Srinidhi, Mohan Sheni, Krishnamurthy Kavattar, Prabhakar Kundar, Ranjan Shetty, and Santosh Shetty.

Produced under the Panchanana Films banner by a team of like-minded creators, Rippan Swamy marks the production house’s debut venture. The film has been shot extensively in picturesque locations like Koppa, Kalasa, and Baléhonnur.

The music has been composed by renowned Malayalam music director Samyuktha Abhi, while Ranganath C.M. has handled the cinematography. The film has been edited by Shashank Narayan.
