New serial “Nee Iralu Jotheyalli” airing on Star Suvarna from August 11

Continuing its tradition of offering fresh and engaging content to Kannada television viewers, Star Suvarna premiered its latest serial Nee Iralu Jotheyalli from August 11, airing daily at 7 PM.

The show is helmed by Dharani G. Ramesh, the director behind several hit serials such as Muddu Lakshmi, Marali Bandalu Seethe, and Marali Manasagide. This time, he takes on both production and direction, promising another family entertainer with a powerful storyline.

The narrative introduces Krishna, a clever yet selfless young man raised in a freedom fighter’s family. Portrayed as a modern-day Shri Krishna, he helps others without expecting rewards. However, his household faces turmoil due to a manipulative aunt who treats family members like puppets.

Opposite him is Rachana Patil, the educated and compassionate daughter of the family, known for her motherly heart. The central question lies in whether Krishna can unmask the arrogant aunt and how he and Rachana, despite their contrasting beliefs, come together. For Rachana, her aunt is an ideal figure—but what happens when she starts viewing her as an adversary forms the crux of the plot.

The show stars Pavan Ravindra and Salomi D’Souza in the lead roles. Actress Rajini, well remembered for her role in Amruthavarshini, makes a strong comeback as the cunning aunt under the name Urmila Diwan. Actor Mohan and many other talented artistes are also part of the cast.
