A Powerful Father–Son Drama Chowkidar Trailer Released

The much-awaited Kannada film Chowkidar, starring talented actor Pruthvi Ambar and Doddmane family scion Dhanya Ramkumar, has unveiled its trailer, further heightening audience curiosity. Having already created strong buzz through its title and concept, the film now promises an emotionally stirring narrative with the release of its impactful trailer. The grand trailer launch event was held at the Kalavidara Sangha in Bengaluru, in the presence of Police Inspector Raghavendra Gowda and High Court advocate Praveen, who attended as special guests and extended their best wishes to the film’s team.

Speaking after the trailer launch, Inspector Raghavendra Gowda said, “Soldiers protect the nation at the borders, police safeguard the cities, but within a family, it is the father who stands guard as the real Chowkidar. A Moving Story of a Father–Son Bond : Through Chowkidar, Chandrashekhar Bandiyappa brings a deeply touching story to the screen, beautifully portraying the emotional bond between a father and son. Veteran actor Saikumar, who has completed 50 years in cinema, plays a pivotal role in the film. Shwetha (of Chaithrada Premanjali fame) and Sudharani appear in important roles, while Bigg Boss-fame Gilli actor Dharma and several others add strength to the cast.

The film is produced by Kallahalli Chandrashekhar under the VS Entertainment banner, with Vidyadevi as co-producer. Lyrics are penned by V. Nagendra Prasad, Pramod Maravante and Santosh Nayak. Siddu Kanchanahalli has handled cinematography, while Sachin Basrur has composed the music.

Murali Master has choreographed the songs, Gnanesh Matad has edited the film, and Jai Subrahmanya has designed the action sequences. Chowkidar is set to release in theatres on January 30.
