‘Zero to One’ Goes on Floors with Grand Muhurtha in Bengaluru

The much-anticipated motivational youth drama Zero to One officially went on floors today with a grand muhurtha ceremony held at the Mahavishnu Temple, Ejipura, Bengaluru. The film is a bold new venture by Nagaveni Santosh under the banner A.U. Movies, marking his most ambitious project to date. Zero to One is being made simultaneously in five languages — Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, making it a rare Hollywood-style Indian production with a strong pan-Indian and global vision. The film belongs to the motivational youth genre, aimed at inspiring today’s young generation.

Speaking at the launch, actor, director and producer Nagaveni Santosh described the project as a dream more than a decade in the making. “Today is very special for us. This film is coming in Kannada and English, along with major Indian languages. It has been my 13-year dream. I am taking full responsibility for this project and moving forward on my own. I have worked in Mumbai and in Hindi films, but Kannada comes first. Along with Kannada, we are also bringing an English film for global audiences. I need everyone’s support for this new team and this new vision,” he said. The film is scheduled for release during August–September this year.

Industry and spiritual support

Renowned spiritual leader Avadhoota Arjun Guruji, who attended the event as the chief guest, spoke passionately about the importance of Kannada cinema and supporting new talent. “Everyone has deep love for the land they are born in, and I too have great pride in Kannada. Our wish is that Kannada cinema grows stronger and reaches greater heights. Many artists have struggled and built this industry. New teams like this should be encouraged. May this film bring goodness to Kannada cinema,” he said.

Leading ladies share their excitement

Actress Manisha Bhatt expressed her gratitude for the opportunity. “Cinema brings positive energy. I am thankful for the chance given to newcomers like us. We have worked very hard for this film, and we hope audiences will support and encourage us.” Actress Rakshita Gowda, who makes her debut as a lead with this film, said: “This is my first film, and I am extremely happy. Life has ups and downs, and this movie is dedicated to today’s youngsters. Success should be welcomed happily, and even failure should be accepted with the same spirit. That is the core message of our film.”
