Grand Pre-Release Event Held for Chandan Shetty Starrer “Elra Kaleliyatte Kaala”

​The pre-release event for “Elra Kaleliyatte Kaala,” the debut film featuring Chandan Shetty as a lead actor, was recently held with great fanfare. Directed by Sujay Shastry and produced by Govindaraju under the Gokula Entertainers banner, the film features a storyline set in the 1990s. During the event, the cast and crew shared their experiences and insights regarding the project.

​Director Sujay Shastry expressed his gratitude to the entire team for their cooperation, stating that the film has shaped up beautifully. He noted that although the movie was originally scheduled for an April 17 release, it has been postponed by one week due to various reasons and will now hit screens on April 24. He shared his confidence that the film would resonate with all types of audiences.

​Lead actor Chandan Shetty highlighted the significance of the new release date, mentioning his excitement that the film will now premiere on the birthday of the legendary matinee idol Dr. Rajkumar. He urged the public to support the team’s hard work and sought their encouragement for his first venture as a hero.

​Veteran actress Tara Anuradha, who plays a significant role in the film, spoke warmly about her connection with the team. She mentioned her long-standing acquaintance with Sujay Shastry and Raj Guru Hoskote from their theater days, as well as her fondness for lead actress Archana Kottige and Chandan Shetty’s family. She praised the quality of the songs and the collective effort of the talented team, appealing to audiences to watch the film in theaters on April 24 to celebrate the occasion.

​Producer Govindaraju thanked the entire team and announced that Chandan Films would be handling the distribution. Archana Kottige expressed her gratitude to everyone involved, while actors Rajinikanth and Anant Padmanabha shared details about their respective roles. Kunal from Chandan Films spoke about the distribution plans, and family friends of the producer, Srinivas and Shankar, wished the project success. Usha Govindaraju was also present at the ceremony.
