Review:
In the past, evening schools existed in rural areas for adult education, aiming to teach illiterate villagers. Director Prasanna seems to have used this as inspiration for the story. Having a seventh-grade student like Bharathi conduct the lessons makes the story more relatable and touching. Initially, the plot draws you in emotionally. However, the “heroism” of a character named Rajasekhar, who appears amidst the steady flow of the story, felt unnecessary. There was more scope to build Bharathi’s journey even more emotionally. Yashika, playing the lead role of Bharathi, has acted adorably. The performances of Sihi Kahi Chandru, Govinde Gowda, Ashwin Hassan, and Divya Anchan are neat and effective. Aditya provides a surprise in his guest appearance. The songs are pleasant to the ears, and Prasanna’s music has come out well.
