Arjun Janya makes a special appearance in the devotional track from Raj B. Shetty’s upcoming crime thriller.

The much-anticipated Kannada film Rakkasapuradol, starring National Award–winning actor Raj B. Shetty in the lead, is steadily building strong buzz ahead of its theatrical release. After impressing audiences with its intriguing first look, teaser, and the soulful melody “Neena Neena… Neenena…”, the makers are now set to unveil another powerful song from the film. The new track, titled “Siddayya Swamy Banni…”, will be released on January 23 at 5:06 PM on Anand Audio. Composed by Arjun Janya, the song carries a strong devotional and emotional tone, and what makes it extra special is that it is sung by Jogi Prem, marking a rare and exciting collaboration. The lyrics have been penned by Kranti Kumar, adding depth and authenticity to the song’s spiritual essence.

Adding to the excitement, Arjun Janya himself appears in a special guest role in the song. According to director Ravi Sarang, the song plays a crucial role in the narrative: “When the villagers turn to Siddayya Swamy seeking relief from their troubles, this song emerges as a powerful moment in the film.” The sequence features Raj B. Shetty, Gaurav Shetty, and the villagers, bringing alive the rustic and emotional setting of the story. Directed by Ravi Sarang, who has worked closely with Jogi Prem for over a decade, Rakkasapuradol is scheduled to hit theatres on February 6. The team also plans to release the film’s trailer soon.

Set in the region around Kollegal, the film is a crime thriller with a deep psychological and emotional core. Explaining the theme, Ravi Sarang says: “The story is about the ‘rakshasa’ (demon) that exists within every human being. We all have both good and bad qualities. The film explores how the hero overcomes the darkness within himself.” Produced under the K.N. Entertainment banner by noted stunt director K. Ravivarma, the film stars Swathista Krishna and Archana Kottige opposite Raj B. Shetty. The ensemble cast also includes B. Suresh, Aniruddha Bhatt, Gopal Deshpande, Jahangir, Gaurav Shetty, and Siddanna. With Arjun Janya’s music, William David’s cinematography, and K.M. Prakash’s editing, Rakkasapuradol promises to be a gripping blend of intense storytelling and soulful music — setting the stage for a thrilling cinematic experience.
