‘Kapado Dyaavre’ Song from Elumale is Out and Trending Now

The much-awaited Elumale, produced by Tarun Sudhir, is already making noise with its strong content and emotional storyline. After impressing audiences with its title teaser, the makers have now released a melodious track from the film, Kapado Dyaavre.
Veteran actresses Shruti, Sudharani, and Tara Anuradha unveiled the song and extended their best wishes to the team. Present at the event were producer Tarun Sudhir, director Puneeth Rangaswamy, lead pair Rana and Priyanka, music director D. Imman, playback singer Mangli, and presenter Raju Gowdra.
Actress Tara said, “The song touched me deeply. It portrays the pain lovers go through, and since the film is based on a real story, it reflects that truthfully. Rana and Priyanka look wonderful on screen, and the director has done his job beautifully. Tarun Sudhir always ensures quality in his work, and this song is proof of that. I wish the film a big success.”
Actress Shruti praised the performances, saying, “When audiences watch Elumale, they will say Rana has delivered an outstanding act. This film gives him the perfect opportunity to establish himself as an actor. Priyanka has also acted brilliantly. For me, this is like a family film because Tarun Sir has been a strong support for newcomers in the industry. Very few filmmakers encourage fresh talent the way he does.”
Sudharani added, “Watching the teaser and now this song, I feel Kannada cinema is regaining its shine. The dedication of the entire team is visible on screen. Opportunities in cinema come only with devotion and discipline, and Rana and Priyanka are making the best use of it. Tarun Sudhir is carrying forward his father’s legacy, excelling not just as an actor and director but now also as a producer.”
Music director D. Imman, who has worked previously with stars like Sudeep and Puneeth Rajkumar, expressed his happiness: “Being part of Tarun Sudhir’s project has been a wonderful experience. Elumale is a beautiful love story, and Rana and Priyanka have done a fantastic job. I enjoyed composing for this film, and the visuals are equally stunning thanks to cinematographer Advait.”
The song Kapado Dyaavre has been released in three languages—Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu—through Anand Audio’s official YouTube channel. Penned by lyricist Nagarjun Sharma, the soulful melody is sung by Mangli with music by D. Imman. The video beautifully captures the bittersweet emotions of love, featuring the lead pair Rana and Priyanka. Set against the backdrop of the Karnataka–Tamil Nadu border, Elumale tells the story of Harish (played by Rana, brother of actress Rakshita) and a Tamil girl (played by Mysuru’s Priya Achar). The film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Nagabharana, Kishore Kumar, Sardar Satya, and Jagappa in pivotal roles.
Director Puneeth Rangaswamy, known for his work as assistant director and lyricist in films like Katera and Guru Shishyaru, makes his debut as a full-fledged director with Elumale. Tarun Sudhir, who previously directed Chowka and Katera, has produced the film along with co-producer Atlanta Nagendra. The story is based on true incidents and is expected to be an emotionally powerful narrative.
Shot extensively across Chamarajanagar, Salem, and Erode—the border regions of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu—the film has Advait Gurumurthy as cinematographer, K.M. Prakash handling editing, and dialogues penned by Nagarjun Sharma and Puneeth Rangaswamy. With music by D. Imman, Elumale is set for a multilingual release in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.
