The buzz surrounding the upcoming Kannada film “Marali Manasagide” is reaching a fever pitch. With a trailer that has sparked immense curiosity and paid premieres that have left audiences delighted, the film is all set to hit screens across the state on February 12.
Produced under the Benaka Talkies banner by Mudegowda Naveen Kumar R.O., Teligi Mallikarjunappa, Nagaraj Shankar, and Ashith Subramanya, the film is directed by Nagaraj Shankar and features Arjun Vedanth in the lead role.


A Decadelong Wait for Arjun Vedanth
Lead actor Arjun Vedanth shared an emotional connection with the release date. “After ten years, my Kannada film is finally hitting the screens. Interestingly, my film Kudla Cafe released on February 12, 2016, and now, exactly ten years later, Marali Manasagide is arriving on the same date,” he noted. He expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming response to the songs and teaser, adding that the feedback from paid premieres in Bengaluru, Puttur, and Udupi has been heart-filling.

Producer Mudegowda Naveen Kumar R.O., who cited Challenging Star Darshan as his inspiration for entering the film industry, highlighted a unique marketing strategy. “Usually, trailers are released before premieres. However, we conducted our paid premieres first and have released the trailer now. Thanks to the team’s hard work, a great film is coming your way,” he said, urging audiences to watch it in theaters.
