Nagashree Turns Towards a Historic Role

In 2023, actress Nagashree Begar rose to fame through her charming performance as Poorvi in the movie Jalapatha, which successfully completed 50 days in theatres and is still available for streaming on Amazon Prime. That same year, she drew the attention of both critics and audiences with her portrayal of a transgender model in the thriller film Vaishampayana Teera. She gained popularity playing the role of Ratna in the serial Annayya, aired on Zee Kannada and produced by Pramod Shetty’s production house.

Now, Nagashree is back in the spotlight with a big update related to the film industry. Under the banner of Sri Enterprises, a new environmentally themed film is underway. The movie, based on a historical novel that emphasizes the importance of water and lakes. It is directed by Ramesh Begar and has already completed four phases of shooting. Nagashree once again plays the lead role in this project.
