Romantic Song ‘Neenu Nanage’ in the Film ‘Ghaarga’

Producer Ashwini Ramprasad, who has made successful films like the Shiva Rajkumar starrer Jogi and Prem’s directed and acted Preethi Eke Bhoomi Mele Ide, is now introducing his son, Arun Ramprasad, as a hero in the film industry. The name of the movie is Ghaarga. The romantic song ‘Neenu Nanage’ from this film was recently released at an event. This is an adventurous drama narrative, and in the film, Arun appears in the role of a writer and researcher. M. Shashidhar has written the story and screenplay and directed the film. In this movie, Ghaarga is the name of a village. Rehana plays the heroine.

On this occasion, producer Ramprasad spoke, saying, “I have worked in the film industry for 40 years as an audio company owner and producer, and now I am launching my son. We started this film 4 years ago, but it was delayed due to several reasons. This is a different genre film; the hero appears in 3 getups here. There was some trouble when the set burned down during the shoot in Chikmagalur. Director Shashidhar has done a very good job with the story and screenplay. The film is now ready for release and is preparing to go for censor certification. We plan to release it around January, and N. Kumar is releasing our film.”

Next, director Shashidhar spoke, saying, “This film started 5 years ago and had to be postponed due to various reasons, including COVID. It’s an adventurous drama with a fictional story. The film has all kinds of entertaining elements like horror, suspense, thriller, and action. We have shot it in Mangalore, Chikmagalur, Dandeli, Agumbe, and Bangalore. After seeing the trailer, Zee has bought the rights for a good sum. The film has the tagline ‘The Land of Shadow’.”

Hero Arun Ramprasad said, “I have entered the film industry after doing all the necessary preparation for acting. The entire film was challenging for me; I had to reduce and increase my weight frequently. My character has several shades, like a writer and an underworld figure. This is a horror, crime thriller subject, and the shooting and post-production work are all complete.” Distributor N. Kumar spoke, “Ramprasad and I are close friends, and my son and his son are also friends. We plan to release the film in February.”
