‘Sukhibhava’ Teaser and Songs Launched in a Grand Event

The teaser and songs of the newcomer-centric Kannada film ‘Sukhibhava’ were unveiled in a grand ceremony held at Sri Renukamba Studio, marking an important milestone for the project. The film is produced by the husband-and-wife duo Santosh Kumar and Bhargavi Santosh under the banner Ved Aryan Films, named after their son. Making his directorial debut, N.K. Rajesh Naidu, a Mysuru native, has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues, in addition to directing the film. Rajesh Naidu has previously worked as an assistant to several noted filmmakers, including Yogaraj Bhat, and brings that experience into his first independent venture.

A Smooth Journey True to Its Title

True to its title Sukhibhava (which means “Be Happy”), the film’s journey has been remarkably smooth, with the makers stating that the project progressed without major hurdles from start to finish. Producer Santosh Kumar credited the inspiration behind the film to close friends and well-wishers, especially Umapathi Srinivas Gowda, producer of Roberrt, whose encouragement played a key role in bringing the film to life.

A Feel-Good Journey of Love and Life

Addressing the gathering, director N.K. Rajesh Naidu described Sukhibhava as a film rich in love, emotions, humour, and wholesome entertainment. He revealed that the film initially had a different title, but as the story took shape, Sukhibhava felt like the perfect fit. “People often say that first love is pure and beautiful. But when life moves forward and meaning begins to change, if one goes in search of that love again—will it be found or lost forever? The film explores these questions in a positive and heartfelt way,” the director explained. He further described Sukhibhava as a cinematic journey of life, rooted in emotions that audiences can easily relate to.

Cast and Music Highlights

The film stars Mahendra (from Bengaluru) in the lead role, with Sushmita Nayak and Viyanshi Gade as the female leads. The supporting cast includes Gaurav Shetty, Shobharaj, Ravishankar Gowda, Sunil Puranik, Tukaalisantu, and Maitri Jaggi, among others. Music is composed by B.J. Bharat, Shubham, and Viyaan S.A. Lyricist Pramod Maravante has penned three songs, while the final track is written by Santosh Kumar and N.K. Rajesh Naidu. A special highlight is actor Sharan, who has lent his voice to the song featuring the catchy line “Beda Maccha Beda”, adding star value to the soundtrack.

Strong Technical Team and Scenic Locations

Cinematography is handled by S.B. Manjunath Naik, with Vinay N. serving as executive producer. Editing is by Madhu Thumbukere, and action choreography is by Narasimha. The film has been shot across picturesque locations including Bengaluru, Udupi, Sakleshpur, and Kalasa, enhancing its visual appeal. With its feel-good theme, fresh cast, soulful music, and scenic backdrop, ‘Sukhibhava’ promises to be a warm, relatable entertainer that celebrates love, life, and emotional growth.
