Teaser of Coastal Love Story “Marnami” Sparks Curiosity; Ritvik Mathad Stuns in a Rugged Look!

Actor Ritvik Mathad, known for his roles in popular TV serials like Anuroopa, Ginirama, and Ninagaagi, is now seen in a rugged avatar. After a long break post the film Gift Box, Ritvik has returned to the silver screen with a solid story and team. The teaser of his new film “Marnami” has just been released.

To mark Ritvik Mathad’s birthday, the film team unveiled his introduction teaser, which is now streaming on the Gunadya Productions YouTube channel. The teaser has sparked curiosity without revealing much of the plot. The background score by Charan Raj is a major highlight.

Speaking after the teaser release, producer Nishanth said, “All of us came together to make a good film. The trailer will be released soon. We’ve got a great star cast and an amazing team of technicians. My wife supported me throughout this journey. The shoot is complete, post-production and music work are underway. We are planning to release the film in September.”

Director Rishith Shetty shared, “Our first two teasers received great responses, and I hope the current teaser gets the same kind of support. Everyone will like the film. This is a story written by my friend Sudhi. I told the story to Ritvik, and that’s how the journey began. Then we met Nishanth sir, and now the film is here.”

Lead actor Ritvik Mathad said, “Looking back at this journey fills me with pride. I never imagined it would turn out this beautifully. This was made possible only because of Nishanth sir and Shilpa ma’am. The industry needs such producers who support newcomers. It’s not easy to launch debutants and deliver such a quality product. This film is the best birthday gift I’ve received. Director Shetty is like a brother to me. Acting in a film directed by him is a joy.”

Lead actress Chaitra Achar said, “Rishith Shetty narrated the story so well and shot it just the way he described. The entire production team supported me immensely. It feels like this role was meant for me. After joining the film, I discovered how much talent exists in Mangaluru. Shiv sir’s work here is very unique. Ritvik has acted brilliantly, and Sudhi’s story is powerful. It was a pleasure working with such a great team.”

Rishith Shetty, who previously worked as an assistant and co-director in several films, has written the story and dialogues for Marnami, marking his full-fledged debut as a director. Marnami stars Ritvik Mathad and Chaitra J Achar in lead roles, along with Suman Talwar, Prakash Tuminadu, Sonu Gowda, Jyothish Shetty, Rochit, Swaraj Shetty, Mime Ramdas, and Chaitra Shetty, among others. The cinematography is handled by Shiv Sena (of Salaga, Bheema fame), music is composed by Charan Raj, and costumes are designed by Varsha Achar. The film is produced by Shilpa Nishanth under the Gunadya banner.
