Veerendra Heggade Sets the Screen Ablaze in the Upcoming Film ‘Veera Kambala’

The highly anticipated film ‘Veera Kambala’, directed by veteran filmmaker Rajendra Singh Babu, is scheduled for a statewide release on February 27. As the release date nears, the production team has unveiled a major highlight: the special appearance of Dr. Veerendra Heggade, the Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, who has stepped in front of the camera for a pivotal role.

A Decade in the Making
‘Veera Kambala’ is not just a film but a labor of love that has been in development for nearly a decade. Rajendra Singh Babu meticulously researched the 700-year history of Kambala (the traditional buffalo race of coastal Karnataka) to bring this authentic story to life.
