Youth-driven film “Amruta Anjan” to release on 30th – Veteran actress Jayamala launches the trailer

The short film “Amrutanjan,” which earlier provided complete entertainment, had won the hearts of audiences and garnered millions of views. Following its success, a team of young talents has now come together to present the feature film “Amruta Anjan.” The film’s trailer launch event was held at Utsav Legacy, GT Mall in the city, and the trailer was unveiled by former MLC, former President of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, and senior actress Jayamala.

Speaking on the occasion, Jayamala said she attended the event because of Lokesh Nagappa, who is an engineer and the person who built the house where the event was being held. She described him as a kind-hearted person who also runs a school. She recalled visiting the school for a function, where she was told about a student named Sudhakar, who was highly interested in cinema. Jayamala advised him to complete his education first before entering films, emphasizing the importance of studies. Even after becoming a chemical engineer, Sudhakar and his team created a web series that received 2.5 crore views, which impressed her greatly. She praised the passion and dedication of the entire team and wished the cast, director, and technicians all the best. She urged everyone to support this youth-driven film, which is releasing on the 30th.

Producer Lokesh Nagappa said he felt extremely proud to see Sudhakar, who studied in his school, grow to this level. Many people questioned why he supported Sudhakar so strongly, but he believed Sudhakar had the determination to succeed. He added that he did not expect profits from this film and told the team to focus more on positive effort than on negativity. He emphasized that success and failure are not fully in their control, but if the film is good, audiences will definitely support it. He thanked Jayamala for launching the trailer and requested the public to watch and encourage the film. Director Jyothi Rao Mohit said the main reason for starting this film was the success of the “Amrutanjan” short film. He described “Amruta Anjan” as a complete comedy entertainer with 80% humor and 20% sentiment, blending love, friendship, relationships, two songs, action scenes, and entertainment suitable for all audiences. He said the entire team worked hard to make the film as realistic and enjoyable as possible. He also expressed gratitude to Jayamala for releasing the trailer and said the film is being released through Jayanna Films, requesting everyone’s love and support.

Actor Sudhakar Gowda, the key driving force behind the film, said the entire team owes their presence on the stage to their mentor and guide Lokesh Nagappa. He shared that he studied at Lokesh’s school, completed engineering, and is now fulfilling his dream of becoming a film actor. He said he waited to achieve something before speaking about his mentor and thanked him for his constant support. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to Jayamala for her encouragement and asked audiences to bless and support their team, which has risen from zero. Actor Gaurav Shetty said the film has turned out exactly as they had envisioned. He described it as a full-fledged comedy entertainer and mentioned that he plays the role of a drunkard in the film. He invited audiences to watch the trailer and share their feedback, and requested everyone to support the film when it releases on the 30th. Actress Payal Changappa said making a film is not easy and that giving opportunities to newcomers is very difficult. She thanked the director for giving her a chance and said she had earlier acted in the short film and now plays the character Uri in the movie. She added that the film includes a love story, college life, and family content and urged everyone to watch it in theaters on the 30th.

Actress Sri Bhavya said she had given a few ideas in the short film using Amrutanjan and contributed even more creative ideas in the feature film. She praised the team’s talent and hard work and said the film would appeal to audiences of all age groups. Actors Karthik Ruwari, lyricist Venkatesh Kulkarni, and several others also shared their thoughts about the film. Senior actors Naveen D. Padil and Madhumathi are part of the cast as well. The film’s cinematography is by Sumanth Acharya, editing by Kiran Kumar, and background score by Rohit Shovar. This youth-powered film “Amruta Anjan” is set to release across Karnataka on the 30th.
